Events

Here for the odd balls— finding their own way IN.

O&W hosts events with purpose.

Connect people with people. Extend opportunities. Have the kind of fun we wish existed. Create a space where all are welcome. Meet kindred spirits and absolute opposites. Make local iconic. Accessibility is for everyone. So is fun.

But really, we’re just here to party.

  • No Upcoming Events

O&W has wrapped up our public facing events for the time being to focus on private work and joining forces with other organizations doing similar, wonderful things!

You can read more about that transition in our blog post linked below, and keep up with some of the interesting things there too as well as on on social media. (@olderwiser.co on all platforms)

  • Our Favorite 2023 Events

    That was a wild one!

March: We started out STRONG with the Equinox, a Q&A Panel discussion and public submission art gallery.

April- June: A myriad of in person classes taught by local artists for our second apprenticeship.

July-August: Undergrad , a 3 part series including Pomp & Circumstance, Thesis, and Commencement in collaboration with local art institutes and non-profits.

  • 2022 Events

We’ve been around since 2019, but only started hosting public events in ‘21 & ‘22.

January-May: Too many creative photoshoots to count. These usually included teams of 8-12 collaborators and up to 3 shadowing artists.

July- August: The SHIP ! The very first official educational program we ever hosted outside of “open sets”.

December: O&W Christmas Party held after hours in a downtown cafe complete with an artist gift exchange and toast to the new year.
