Haunted Housewife

A concept developed around questions of how we assign identity, and value to caretakers, home builders, and traditional stereotypes.

This shoot was a personal exploration for me during a season of caretaking for my mother after she almost died from COVID. When she returned home, my world revolved around her out of necessity— and with no room or time to waste on guilt, I found myself questioning what worth I had outside of my service. I lost my own personhood for a time, and turned to Art as a medium for understanding that loss further.
